Reflex Group has announced its acquisition of CB Printed Technology, a specialty print provider based in Los Angeles, CA, USA. This strategic acquisition brings Reflex Group’s operations into North America, adding specialized capabilities in security labels for applications like authentication and anti-counterfeiting.

The Los Angeles site also has additional capacity to expand into other label solutions, enabling the company to provide innovative packaging across the globe.

With this acquisition, Reflex now operates in seven countries. With sites in Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Australia and now the US, along with 17 sites across the UK, Reflex is driving progress and connectivity in the labeling industry.

“When we bought the Macfarlane Labels business we had quite a lot of export work to the US, and we thought for multiple reasons it would be good to set up in the States,” says Ian Kendall, CEO.

The Reflex Group is on pace for sales of roughly £190m this year and employs 1,000. “Our presence around the world helps mitigate trade policy changes and environmental concerns around shipping, which supports our commitment to sustainability,” the company states.
